Meet Dr. Jeremy Ueno
Evidence of the link between oral and systemic disease has been well established and therefore, we believe that it is especially important for you to have regular check-ups and maintain your regular cleanings to diagnose and prevent the progression of gingivitis (gum disease) and periodontitis (disease of the supporting bone). Periodontitis has been linked to stroke, cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, diabetes, kidney disease, respiratory disease, osteoporosis, pre-term and low birth weight babies and more systemic links are being discovered annually. Because of this issue, we are also pleased to be able to offer an in-house periodontist, Dr. Jeremy Ueno, a graduate of the prestigious periodontal program at Columbia University in New York City, to address your periodontal concerns and needs. He specializes in the treatment of periodontal disease, and performs oral plastic surgery for gummy smiles, receding gums and the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants.
